The Stark County Health Department announces they have entered into a partnership with the State Bank of Toulon, First Choice Healthcare and Onero Rx, Inc.-Local Health, Inc., to bring a new multi-service healthcare clinic to Stark County. The new clinic will be located in the former Aunt Martha's-Great River Community Health Center location at 120 W. Court St.
Duane Stevens, Health Department Public Health Administrator, states “This new healthcare center will offer Stark County and area residents public health, primary care, mental health, tele-psych, WIC (Women, Infants & Children Food Supplemental Program) and pharmacy services all under one roof. The pharmacy location will be open to anyone wanting to utilize their services and will accept prescriptions from surrounding medical offices.”
Stevens adds, “The Health Department and First Choice Healthcare along with our other partners in this project are so excited that this new healthcare location will bring much needed public health, clinical, mental health, and pharmacy services to the residents of Stark County who would otherwise have to travel considerable distances to surrounding communities for such services.
“The new medical center is expected to be open by late fall,” Stevens notes, “All involved are so excited about this local healthcare clinic and are looking forward to being able to better serve the residents of Stark County in a more centralized, accessible and customer friendly location.”
